Profile Specific Mod Configs

PreviousDetecting Hidden ModsNextAdd Stardrop to Steam

Last updated 3 years ago

Some mods generate a config.json file after running SMAPI once with the mod installed. These config files allow users to change how their respective mods interacts with the game.

Stardrop can save these config.json files and associate them to , allowing profiles to have different configurations for the same mods.

To enable this behavior, simply go to View > Settings and check the Enable Profile Specific Mod Configs option.

Mod config files are only saved and restored for enabled mods.
