# Checking for Mod Updates

Mods are automatically checked for updates when Stardrop starts.

Further updates can be requested by using one of the following options: 

* Clicking `Tools` > `Check for Mod Updates`.
* Clicking the `Mods Ready to Update` text in the bottom left corner.
